For a while now, we’ve been making posts relating to ninjas and the martial arts, and to go along with that, there is a contest for the artists out there.
The rules are simple:

Before Wu-Tang, there were the Fu-Schnickens. They had a kung-fu base, but they weren’t as concerned with making a spectacle of it as other groups. The idea was that their lyrics were their martial arts.

More ass-whooping kung-fu, but this time from the West Coast. X makes a cogent point though. In any art, there is much to fight for.

Hip hop and kung fu always went together. Somehow it all makes sense. This is Kung Faux, a real television series voiced by hip hop stars.

This video by RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan is remniscent of an old martial arts flick known as Death Mask of the Ninja. This video should be taught as a lesson in how to add kung-fu to a music video. Listen to the music and watch the battle.
Remedy is a Jewish rapper long affiliated with the RZA and the Wu-Tang Clan.

Classic Producer The 45 King is known by only hip hop heads. He comes in and out of the limelight with hip-hop hits you’ve definitely heard of before. Jay-Z’s Hard Knock Life is one of the more famous ones.
